Notable Players to Wear No. 4
As we celebrate the independence of our country on July 4th, take a look at your favorite players who wear No. 4 including Archie Manning, who only wore the number for one season, and a couple of today's most exciting quarterbacks.

Favre is one of just two quarterbacks who has beaten all 32 teams. Peyton Manning is the only other QB to have done so.
Favre is the only player in NFL history to win AP NFL MVP in 3 consecutive seasons. Peyton Manning is the only player to win the MVP in 4-or-more seasons (5), but even he has never won the MVP in 3 straight seasons like Favre did from 1995-1997.

Carr owns the record for most pass TD by a Raiders QB in his first 4 seasons in team history (103). He has four straight seasons of 20+ pass TD (tied with Rich Gannon and Daryle Lamonica for the longest streak in Raiders history). He is also one of just four players in NFL history to throw 20+ touchdown passes in each of his first 4 NFL seasons (IND Peyton Manning, HOF Dan Marino & SEA Russell Wilson).
In six wins in 2017, Carr had 12 pass TD, 1 INT and a 111.6 passer rating. In nine losses, he had 10 pass TD, 12 INT and a 70.1 passer rating. (Note that he missed 1 game due to injury in 2017)

Prescott had a 104.9 passer rating in 2016, which is the highest single-season passer rating by a rookie QB in NFL history (minimum 200 attempts). He won AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, becoming the first Cowboys player to do so since Emmitt Smith in 1990.
Over the last 2 seasons, Prescott had a completion percentage of 52.2 and a passer rating of 83.1 when targeting Dez Bryant. He had a completion percentage of 69.3 and a passer rating of 99.4 when targeting all other players.

Since 1970, no quarterback has more pass TD through his first 7 career games than Watson (19).
Watson is the only player in NFL history with 400+ pass yards, 4+ pass TD and 50+ rush yards in the same game (at SEA in Week 8, 2017).

Keenum had more wins in 2017 (11) than he had in his previous five NFL seasons combined as a starting quarterback (9).
Including playoffs, Keenum had as many pass TD in 2017 as he had over the course of his first 5 NFL seasons (24).

Harbaugh threw 4 INT in his final season with Indianapolis in 1997. He is the only QB in Colts franchise history to throw 4-or-fewer INT in a single season (minimum 200 attempts). He threw just 26 INT over the course of his four seasons with the team.

Vinatieri, a 4-time Super Bowl champion, has the 2nd-most made field goals in NFL history (559). With just 7 more made field goals, he would surpass Morten Andersen's mark of 565.

Hauschka has made 220 of his 252 career field goal attempts (87.3 percent). That is the 4th-highest career field goal percentage in NFL history (minimum 100 attempts).

Hanson made 52 career field goals from 50+ yards. Since 1960, only Sebastian Janikowski has made more from that distance (55).
Hanson ranks 4th on the NFL's all-time scoring list (2,150 points). Only Morten Andersen, Adam Vinatieri and Gary Anderson have more career points.

Zuerlein led the NFL in points scored in 2017 (158). He became the first Rams player to lead the league in scoring since kicker Jeff Wilkins in 2003 (163 points).

Manning, who was the 2nd overall pick in the 1971 NFL Draft, never appeared in a postseason game. In the common draft era and excluding active players, there have been just five other quarterbacks drafted either 1st or 2nd overall that never appeared in a playoff game (Rick Mirer, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, David Carr and JaMarcus Russell).
Manning played 151 career games yet never made a postseason appearance. His sons, Peyton and Eli, have played in a combined 39 playoff games.

Tim and Matt Hasselbeck's teams faced off in 4 different seasons during their careers. In the 4th and final season in 2007, Tim's Cardinals played Matt's Seahawks twice. It was Tim's lone season wearing the No. 4.
