Notable Pro Football Hall of Famers not in CFB Hall of Fame
On Friday, the College Football Hall of Fame will announce its induction class for 2016. There are a great number of players that are in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Still, there are some Pro Football Hall of Famers that made an impact in the college game, but have not yet been enshrined into the College Football Hall of Fame. Here are the most noteworthy college hall omissions.
![College: SMU (1979-1982)
College accomplishments: Dickerson was a two-time first-team All-American while at SMU, where he -- along with Craig James -- formed the "Pony Express" backfield. Dickerson is a finalist for the CFB Hall in 2016, but it's a wonder why it's taken this long to honor the RB. Perhaps being at SMU during an era of rules-breaking that resulted in the Death Penalty might have contributed to the delay.
NFL: Los Angeles Rams (1983-87), Indianapolis Colts (1987-1991), Los Angeles Raiders (1992), Atlanta Falcons (1993)
NFL accomplishments: Dickerson holds the NFL's single-season rushing-yardage record and was a 1999 inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.](https://res.cloudinary.com/nflleague/image/private/t_new_photo_album/t_lazy/f_auto/league/epwribratbxdgyhkcqsf.jpg)
