Look for Missouri defensive ends Markus Golden and Shane Ray (above) to have a big day against an inconsistent UT offensive line.

The skinny: Could this be a trap game for the Badgers, who embarrassed Nebraska last week? This is big in the Big Ten West race; the Badgers have a one-game lead over Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota (which they play next week). Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon (above) is coming off an FBS-record 408-yard outing (in three quarters!) and will be the focal point of the Hawkeyes' defensive efforts. But can a defense allowing 147.8 rushing yards per game slow Gordon? Iowa wants to run the ball, too, and in senior OT Brandon Scherff (above), the Hawkeyes might have the nation's best offensive lineman. The Badgers have won four of the past six in the series.

The skinny: Two of the nation's best wide receivers will be on view in Louisville senior DeVante Parker (above) and Notre Dame sophomore Will Fuller (above), whose 13 TD receptions are tied for first nationally. Notre Dame QB Everett Golson has thrown 12 picks, which should worry Irish coaches because ball-hawking Louisville FS Gerod Holliman leads the nation with 13 interceptions (one shy of the NCAA single-season record). This will be strength vs. strength (Notre Dame's offense vs. Louisville's defense) and weakness vs. weakness (Louisville's offense vs. Notre Dame's defense). It's also important for bowl positioning within the ACC (the Irish are affiliated with ACC bowls).

The unbeaten Seminoles absolutely should not stub their toe against the one-dimensional Golden Eagles. BC QB Tyler Murphy (above) has rushed for 1,006 yards and nine TDs, but he has passed for just 1,293 yards and has more picks than TD passes (10 to nine). FSU QB Jameis Winston (above) is eighth nationally in passing (316.0 yards per game) and has 18 TD passes, but he also has tossed 12 picks. The Seminoles have won 26 in a row overall and 22 in a row in ACC play.

The skinny: After winning its first SEC game in two years last week, Arkansas enters this game with its confidence as high as it's been at any point under Bret Bielema. Ole Miss has more than enough defense to slow down Arkansas' running game, which wasn't especially effective last week even in beating LSU. The Rebels are quick up front defensively, which could present problems for Arkansas' massive but less athletic offensive line. An improving Razorbacks defense, led by defensive end Trey Flowers (above), could give Ole Miss problems. Without top receiver Laquon Treadwell, who is out for the year with an injury, the Rebels must rely more on sophomore tight end Evan Engram (above).

Gophers RB David Cobb (above) is averaging 135.0 rushing yards per game, and his production will be vital against a Huskers defense that was shredded on the ground last week by Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon. Nebraska star DE Randy Gregory (above) was banged up in the loss to the Badgers, but is expected to play. The Golden Gophers' win over Nebraska last season snapped a 16-game losing streak to the Huskers, but this will be just the fourth time the teams have met as Big Ten opponents.

The skinny: There's been plenty of Big 12 talk this season, but the one squad nobody is talking about that still has a shot at the conference title is Kansas State. Wildcats star Tyler Lockett (above) is one of the most underrated wide receivers in the country and will have a tremendous opportunity to out-duel fellow Biletnikoff Award candidate Kevin White (above) of the Mountaineers in a game more than a few NFL teams will keep an eye on.

Utes defensive end Nate Orchard (above) is tied for the most sacks in the country and has been a terror for opposing offensive tackles to block. On the opposite side, Scooby Wright III (above) has been just as disruptive for the Wildcats and is having an All-American-type season himself.
