Between the two organizations, the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys have produced 31 Hall of Famers. Among the 15 49ers immortalized in Canton include Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, and Ronnie Lott. On the Cowboys' end includes Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin.
Including postseason matches, the all-time series between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers is tied at 17-17-1. The 49ers lead the regular-season series with 15-12-1, while the Cowboys have dominated the 49ers in the postseason with a record of 5-2.
