Romo wins while Tebow loses? Say what?
Here's a look at the weekend's biggest winners and losers, at least from a fantasy football perspective. So don't expect to see the Angels (winners) or the NBA (losers for vetoing Lakers trade). Intrigued? Well, without further ado...

It seems strange to see that word next to Romo's name. Yes, he doesn't play pass defense, and he was the one who overthrew Miles Austin with a chance to seal the game. Not that it mattered to fantasy owners, though, who got 28.84 points from the Cowboys quarterback. Tops for signal callers on Sunday.

Part of the reason that Tebow was a winner on the field? It's Barber, who scored 18.00 fantasy points and became the first player to score a rushing touchdown against the Broncos in six games. Thankfully for fantasy owners, fumbles in overtime count the same as fumbles during regulation, so Barber's crippling blunder to set up Tebow's heroics probably didn't crush your fantasy season.

The biggest winner of the day was MJD who scored four touchdowns and totaled nearly 40 fantasy points. For all of the talk of #shanahanigans, fantasy enthusiasts should embrace interim Jaguars coach Mel Tucker for running MJD in for a meaningless touchdown in a blowout win. Well, it wasn't meaningless for fantasy owners. We should not only embrace Tucker but promote him to permanent coach status.

Turner was easily the biggest fantasy disappointment for a lot of owners on Sunday. Turner had an outstanding matchup against the Panthers, who had allowed the most points to fantasy running backs. This seemed like the biggest lock of the week. But now, pick your cliche. I'll go with, "That's why they play the games." Doesn't make me feel better, though.

Turner's poor performance, however, led to a huge day for Ryan, who threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns for 28.80 points. This was Ryan's second four-touchdown performance of the season.

Vick rallied the Eagles for a much-needed win in his return, but fantasy owners who started him likely were not as lucky. Vick threw for 208 yards and a touchdown and had an interception, but the biggest disappointment was the lack of rushing yards. Vick only had nine yards on the ground and finished with 11.22 total points.

One superstar who did come through was Colston, who had 105 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Figuring out the Saints receiver of the week can be an arduous task. But it's nice when the guy you count on every week comes through in the fantasy playoffs.

But Colston's big game came, thanks in no small part, to the back spasms that hampered Graham during the pregame warm-ups. Graham caught five passes for 55 yards, about as much as you can expect from your tight end. But you expect a whole lot more from Graham who once was the undisputed tight ends king.

That title belongs to Gronkowski, who set the NFL record for most receiving touchdowns for a tight end. Gronkowski added a pair of touchdowns and finished with 28 fantasy points. Forget best fantasy tight end, Gronkowski is in consideration for the best fantasy player period.

Lost in Gronkowski's big game was Gates two-touchdown performance against the Bills. The Chargers' December charge might be too late for a playoff berth -- thank you, Tim Tebow -- but fantasy owners still can cash in.

Finally, let's take a moment to close out with a remembrance of Johnson's fantasy production. Johnson is drawing triple coverage, and while Matthew Stafford continues to sling the ball all over the field, it's the Lions periphery receivers who are the beneficiaries, not Johnson. That said, there is no way I'm sitting him in the fantasy playoffs.
