SEC's biggest linemen
If you think the average college lineman is big, then you should take a look at some of the biggest lineman to play in the SEC.

The veteran: Duke's career has taken interesting turns, having started five games as a freshman in 2010, but then being relegated to special teams in 2011 and 2012. But now, as a senior, he's resurfaced in the starting lineup. In all, he's appeared in 38 games for the Rebels, but this season is by far his best chance to make a significant impact. The heaviest: Hill arrived at Alabama at over 400 pounds in January, but worked himself into better condition in time for spring practice. Hill, a freshman and the youngest of those pictured here, can play guard or or tackle, but primarily has worked at the right tackle position for the Crimson Tide. Those close to the program in Tuscaloosa say Hill has remarkably quick feet for someone his size. "I see something he's not supposed to eat, I knock it out of his hands, he sees something I'm not supposed to eat, he knocks it out of my hands." -- Hill on he and roommate Darren Lake, a 325-pound nose guard. The defender: McCullers is the lone defensive player in our look around some of the SEC's biggest men. Rated the No. 4 senior NFL draft prospect in the nation by NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt, the nose guard came to Vol Country from Georgia Military College at nearly 400 pounds. He's since trimmed down, but remains the SEC's biggest defensive player. "Dan is a young man that has unbelievable potential. The tallest: At 6-foot-11, Grünschläger can look down on any player in SEC football, and almost every SEC basketball player as well. Listed as the No. 2 right guard for the Wildcats, the sophomore has appeared in two of the Wildcats' three games this season, against Miami of Ohio and Louisville, and is on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Could he be too big? "Keeping pad level low enough is a challenge for someone his size. That comes from bend in the knees and the hips and working on flexibility." - UK offensive line coach John Schlarman. (Kentucky Media Relations)

The transfer: Listed as the No. 2 right tackle for the Gators, Brown arrived at UF from Georgia Military College -- the same place that sent Daniel McCullers to Tennessee. They must grow them big there. With all the injuries UF has incurred on the offensive line this season, Brown is as close as ever to taking on a more significant role. Coaches say Brown, who is a junior, has high potential. "I don't want Trenton to ever fall on me. If he does, I'm pretty sure my body will be printed in the grass. I don't want that." -- Florida linebacker Dante Fowler. (Kim Klement/USA TODAY Sports)

The swing man: One would be hard-pressed to find a bigger player in the SEC with more versatility than Alexander. He started as a freshman in 2012 at the right tackle position for the Tigers. Then when standout guard Josh Williford's career ended due to concussions in August, Alexander stepped in at left guard and has started every game. "Since I've been here known guard was always a possibility. I'm a versatile person, I know every position mentally as far as assignments. I'm ready." -- Alexander. (Derick E. The late bloomer: Early in his career, Robinson -- a junior -- was mired in scout team duty and was even moved to defense at one point. Now, South Carolina's massive left tackle has made 12 career starts entering the Gamecocks' game against UCF on Sept. 28, but he is considered an elite talent among the junior class. He gets excellent push at the point of attack in the run game. "He's got (NFL) Pro Bowl-type of ability." -- South Carolina strength and conditioning coach Joe Connolly.
