Under the direction of their new starting quarterback, the Broncos had a lackluster effort for three-plus quarters and were staring at a 15-0 deficit. But in the final five minutes of regulation, Tebow directed two touchdown drives and scored the tying two-point conversion to force overtime. Denver emerged victorious in the extra period, as kicker Matt Prater's 52-yard field goal beat the Dolphins.

Tebow wasn't on one knee in prayer in this game. He was on the ground in misery. The Lions sacked Tebow seven times and turned his two turnovers into touchdowns in a rout of the Broncos. They even mocked him at one point as linebacker Stephen Tulloch celebrated his sack of Tebow by striking a prayerful pose near the prone second-year quarterback in the first half.

Tebow threw for two touchdowns and ran for 117 yards to help beat the Raiders. It was quite a turnaround from a week earlier, when Denver was dismantled by Detroit and some of the Lions were questioning Tebow's ability to succeed in the NFL. Broncos coach John Fox was only willing to commit to Tebow for the Oakland game. But after the coaches made a few tweaks to the offense, Tebow earned himself another start.

With the Broncos focusing almost exclusively on a read-option running game with Tebow at quarterback, the forward pass was nearly a forgotten strategy. But with seven minutes left in the game, Tebow went deep and hit wide receiver Eric Decker in stride for a 56-yard touchdown. It was Tebow's second, and final, completion of the game.

Trailing 13-10 to the Jets and having punted on their previous eight possessions, things looked bleak for the Broncos, who took possession at their own 5-yard line with 5:54 remaining in the game. But Tebow refused to let his team surrender. He accounted for 92 of the Broncos' 95 yards on a drive he capped with a 20-yard run for the winning score with 58 seconds left.

The Broncos were looking straight in the face of defeat when Chargers kicker Nick Novak lined up for a field goal in overtime. But Novak missed the 53-yarder, putting the game in Tebow's hands. After sending the game into OT by leading a tying drive late in regulation, Tebow did it again in the extra period, taking the Broncos down the field to set up Matt Prater's winning field goal.

The Vikings built a 15-7 halftime lead, but Tebow was in a groove the entire second half -- not just in the waning minutes. He passed for a season-best 202 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns, and helped set up a pair of field goals by Matt Prater in the final 93 seconds, including the winner as time expired.

The Broncos failed to score on their first dozen possessions, and with the Bears leading, 10-0, with 2:08 left in the game, it looked as if Tebow Time would expire. But Tebow went 7-for-7 on a TD drive to get Denver within a field goal, and then led a drive that forced OT with a 59-yard field goal by Matt Prater, who nailed a 51-yarder in the extra period to end it.
