1949 NFL Draft, 12th round, Chicago Bears -- Blanda played 10 seasons for the Bears (1949-1958), one season for the Baltimore Colts (1950), seven seasons for the Houston Oilers (1960-66) and nine seasons for the Oakland Raiders (1967-1975). Blanda directed the Oilers to the American Football League title game in three consecutive seasons (1960-62), winning in 1960 and 1961 but losing the famous double-overtime AFL championship game to the Dallas Texans in 1962.
