1983 NFL Draft, second round, New York Giants -- Marshall played 10 seasons for the Giants (1983-1992), one season for the New York Jets (1993) and one season for the Washington Redskins (1994). 1960 NFL Draft, first round, Los Angeles Rams -- Cannon, the 1959 Heisman Trophy winner, never played for the Rams. Instead, he opted to play in the upstart American Football League. He played four seasons for the Houston Oilers (1960-63), six seasons for the Oakland Raiders (1964-69) and one seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs (1970). He was a member of an Oilers team that reached the first three AFL championship games, winning in 1960 and 1961. He was also a member of the Raiders when they advanced to Super Bowl II. 1960 NFL Draft, first round, Detroit Lions -- Robinson never played for the Lions. Instead, he opted to play in the upstart American Football League for the Dallas Texans. He played for the Texans/Kansas City Chiefs for 12 seasons, and was a member of the team when it advanced to the first Super Bowl following the 1967 season and also when it won Super Bowl IV. 1948 NFL Draft, first round, Detroit Lions -- Tittle never played for the Lions. Instead, he opted to play for the Baltimore Colts of the All-American Football Conference. He played for the AAFC Colts from 1948-49 and the Colts when they moved into the NFL in 1950. He then played 10 seasons for the San Francisco 49ers (1951-1060) and four seasons for the New York Giants (1961-64). He helped the Giants reach three consecutive NFL championship games from 1961-63. 1958 NFL Draft, second round, Green Bay Packers -- Taylor played nine seasons for the Packers (1958-1966) and one season for the New Orleans Saints (1967). He was a member of five NFL championship-winning Packers teams (including victories in the first two Super Bowls). 1944 NFL Draft, first round, Philadelphia Eagles -- Van Buren played eight seasons for the Eagles (1944-1951), and was a vital member of a squad that reached three consecutive NFL championship games, winning the titles in 1948 and 1949.
