1971 NFL Draft, fourth round, Miami Dolphins -- Theismann never played for the Dolphins, opting instead to go to the Canadian Football League. He then played 12 seasons for the Washington Redskins (1974-1985), leading the team to two Super Bowls -- winning Super Bowl XVII -- and earning league MVP honors in 1983. 1988 NFL Draft, first round, Los Angeles Raiders -- Brown -- the 1987 Heisman Trophy winner -- played 16 seasons for the Raiders (1988-2003) and one season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2004). 1946 NFL Draft, first round, New York Giants -- Connor never played for the Giants, instead playing eight seasons for the Chicago Bears (1948-1955). He was a four-time first-team all-Pro and a 1975 inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. (National Football League)

1962 AFL Draft, 13th round, Boston Patriots -- Buoniconti played seven seasons for the Patriots (1962-68) and then seven seasons for the Miami Dolphins (1969-1976). He was a member of the Patriots team that advanced to the 1963 AFL championship game, as well as three Dolphins teams to advance to the Super Bowl, two that won the Super Bowl and one team that finished a season 17-0. 1957 NFL Draft, first round, Green Bay Packers -- Hornung -- the 1956 Heisman Trophy winner -- played nine seasons for the Packers. 1979 NFL Draft, third round, San Francisco 49ers -- Montana played 13 seasons for the 49ers (1979-1992) and two years for the Kansas City Chiefs (1993-94).
