After Randall Cobb suffered a sprained AC joint in Week 3 of the preseason, his owners were forced into a panic. However, Cobb has practiced this week and is listed as probable for Sunday. He'll be a WR1 for the Packers and fantasy lineups against the Bears this week.

Speaking of the Bears, their star wide receiver, Alshon Jeffery, gets a tick up after practicing in a limited basis on Friday. Had he not practiced, he would have been all but out. If he starts for the Bears he should start for your fantasy team. The Packers could be without their star safety Morgan Burnett, meaning Jeffery could have an easier path to success.

The first-round draft pick hasn't practiced in what seems like months, and has been officially ruled out for Week 1. Owners who took a flier on his upside could be hard pressed to hold onto him until he finally sees the field. As of right now, we have no idea when that will be, meaning targets could be flooding to the likes of Kamar Aiken and Grockett Gillmore.

Evans finally practiced on Friday, saying he was able to run routes at full speed and felt "pretty good." If he starts, he gets the benefit of a juicy matchup against the Titans, whose top two cornerbacks are also battling injuries.

For some reason, Alfred Morris just cannot have nice things. While he's finished as a top-15 fantasy running back in each of his first three seasons, he's also seen his carries, yards and yards per attempt fall in each season as well. He has historically performed better with Robert Griffin III under center, but it'll be Kirk Cousins calling the shots in Week 1. Oh, and Matt Jones has looked phenomenal in the preseason and figures to get the goal-line work because, again, Alfred Morris cannot have nice things. Sigh.

LeSean McCoy will play in Week 1, but admits that he's not 100 percent. Still, for those who invested a high draft pick in the Bills back, they're feeling much better with even a limited McCoy than some curtain-jerker from their bench.

The post-Terrance West trade glow has faded for Crowell, as Duke Johnson has been cleared and could play a "big role" on Sunday. I've steered clear of this backfield in fantasy drafts, but if you're stuck with Crowell, I hope it's only as a flex this week against the tough Jets defense.

When Arian Foster first needed groin surgery, there was a fear that he could be put on the IR boomerang and lost until Week 10. However, now the reports are that Foster could see the field in a matter of weeks, and by early October at the latest. Those fantasy owners who invested a middle-round pick in the Tennessee product are feeling much better about this advanced timetable.

Tre Mason figured to have solid fantasy value while Todd Gurley worked his way back from his torn ACL a season ago, but after battling a hamstring injury for weeks Mason is officially questionable for Week 1. Since he's already dinged up and playing the Seattle defense, owners would be wise to look elsewhere for a starting asset this weekend.

After apparently "winning" the Titans backfield duties when David Cobb went on the IR boomerang, Sankey's limited fantasy appeal has taken a hit after the team traded for Terrance West. We don't quite know how much West will see the field this week, but his presence alone is enough to do some serious damage to Sankey's stock.
