It's hard to ignore Roethlisberger's production of late. I've been throwing this stat around a lot but he's scored 80.48 fantasy points over the last two weeks versus 103.82 over the first seven! It's highly unlikely that Roethlisberger throws six touchdowns again, but this offense has been hitting its stride ever since Martavis Bryant was brought into the fold. Big Ben doesn't have the easiest run to close out the season, but it's looking like he can be counted on nonetheless.

Oh boy. That was some performance Dalton put together on Thursday night, eventually getting benched for Jason Campbell. Ouch. Dalton was the fifth-highest scoring fantasy quarterback last season, but this year has had just one game where he's scored more than 20 fantasy points. Not that many fantasy owners were relying on Dalton this year, but even if you're desperate for a quarterback you should look elsewhere for help.

As I mentioned in Roethlisberger's section, the Steelers' offensive rise has coincided with the arrival of Bryant in the starting lineup. The rookie out of Clemson was inactive for the first six weeks of the season, but in his only three NFL games he has 10 receptions for 167 yards and five touchdowns. It'd be great to see him get a few more targets, since his touchdown pace will be hard to keep up, but for now the rookie's stock is on the rise.

You coulda been a contender, Mike. Coulda been somebody, instead of a bum. In case you didn't hear, Glennon has been benched in favor of Josh McCown. Sigh. Glennon had been the more productive fantasy quarterback, even if much of his production came in garbage time. Sadly, Glennon's time as a fantasy commodity is coming to a close in 2014.

Where there's fantasy death (Glennon), there's also new life. That's the case with Sanchez, who is getting a second chance, filling in for the injured Nick Foles. Sanchez looked good in his first game action last week against the Texans, throwing some good looking passes. Sanchez has more talent around him now than during any portion of his career with the Jets, which bodes well for his fantasy prospects. He needs to be added in fantasy leagues -- especially if your team had been relying on Foles to finish out the season.

The benching of Mike Glennon is disappointing news for the fantasy prospects of Evans and Jackson. With Glennon under center, the wide receiving duo had been averaging 75 yards per game and 64 yards per game with four and two touchdowns, respectively. Without Glennon? Those totals drop to 40 yards per game and 34 yards per game, and neither wideout caught a touchdown. Now, Evans has been playing better as he has grown into the NFL game, but I'm not keen on the fantasy value of either of these wideouts until Josh McCown shows me something on the field.

Despite having two fractures in his back, Romo practiced on Thursday and again on Friday and is now listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in London. If Romo plays on Sunday it'll be a big bonus for the stock of Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray as well. Just don't be fooled by the matchup against the Jaguars -- their defense is allowing the fewest points to opposing quarterbacks over the last four weeks.

After posting two of the highest scoring fantasy weeks of the season (by any player) in a three-week span, Wilson has struggled recently. Mightily. Over the last two games, Wilson has completed just 55.7 percent of his passes and is averaging 189 yards per game and a paltry 5.64 yards per attempt. He's thrown just one touchdown and one interception during that span as well. Wilson has the talent to bounce back, but right now things aren't looking great for Wilson with a slew of tough matchups on the horizon, including two against the Cardinals and 49ers each.

Jackson has been on a mission to return sooner than expected from a groin injury he suffered in Week 7. He returned to practice this week which is a great sign, but he's only listed as questionable for this weekend's game against the Chiefs. It's unclear if Jackson will play or not, and even if he does it's not an easy matchup. However, his owners can sleep easy knowing Jackson could be back in action very soon.

While these two could see a fair amount of work on Sunday, they're unlikely to produce against a stout Kansas City defense. And with Fred Jackson nearing a return to the field, the run of Dixon and Brown as fantasy relevant running backs will thankfully come to a close.

As a Megatron owner, I'm thrilled to once again have him back in my lineup. Even though his welcome back matchup isn't great, Megatron is kind of matchup proof. The Lions face a tough schedule for the rest of the season, but Megatron should still produce -- at least that's what those of us who invested a first-round pick in him hope.

Watkins suffered a groin injury earlier this week that was believed to be minor, but it has held the talented rookie out of practice for a second straight day. It looks like Watkins is heading for the dreaded "game time decision" tag on Sunday against the Bills and is officially listed as questionable. If you have the receiver depth, it might be worth sitting Watkins this weekend as he faces the tough Kansas City defense.

While the return of Josh McCown doesn't look great for the likes of Evans and Jackson, with Doug Martin still injured and Charles Sims fighting to return, the starting job appears to be Rainey's for the foreseeable future. He looked good last week, and produced in spot starts last year. If you have Rainey he's worth starting as an RB2 or flex this week against a leaky Atlanta defense.

Not only have the 49ers been giving the ball to Gore less this season, but even when he's gotten his touches recently he's struggled to find openings. Gore is averaging just 2.74 yards per carry over his last three games. The team drafted Carlos Hyde in the second round of the NFL draft this year, and Gore is a free agent next year. Gore's time in San Francisco might be ending next year, but his time as a must-start fantasy running back appears to be ending even sooner.

McCoy has had over 20 carries in each of his last four games, and hasn't rushed for fewer than 81 yards in that stretch. He hasn't found the end zone, but those will come. His offensive line is getting healthier and with Mark Sanchez now under center, the offense will need to rely on McCoy even more. I know how frustrating he's been this season, as I own him in our NFL dynasty league, but his owners' patience could be rewarded soon.

After Cam's 34.06-point outburst in Week 6, his production has dried up in a hurry. In his three games since, Newton has scored just 31.88 fantasy points. The Panthers lack of playmakers on offense outside of Kelvin Benjamin has been brutally apparent recently, but things could turn around if they get the running game going with a healthy DeAngelo Williams. Still, for the present and foreseeable future Newton's stock is on the decline.

The Lions passing attack hasn't only been without Megatron recently, but it has been without its top three tight ends as well. Fauria, Ebron and Pettigrew all practiced this week, which is a great sign. None of them have fantasy value yet, but if one emerges he could be worth a spot start down the stretch given the disaster that is the tight end position in fantasy this season.

McKinnon's talent is undeniable, and his value could be fantastic next season. But in 2014? Well, McKinnon can't buy a touch near the goal line, and as such his fantasy value is sadly going to be capped this season. He still could rack up some decent yardage totals this season, but if you have better options you might want to consider starting them until McKinnon starts getting looks near the end zone. He'll still have flex appeal for the rest of the season, though.
