If you started Brees in the playoffs on Sunday and you did not reach the finals, hit me up on Twitter. I need to hear your tale of woe. Brees was unstoppable on Sunday, throwing for five touchdowns and 412 yards. Good news this week, too, as he plays at home in the championship week.

I was really high on Stafford coming into Sunday, and he clearly delivered. If there were points for dramatic rallies, Stafford would have had the top performance of the week. Instead, fantasy owners will have to settle for just 30.14 points. And yes, I'm being facetious, that's an awesome day.

Here's how bad it was for some fantasy owners. Imagine if you had taken a flyer on Skelton going against the Browns. You would have been rewarded with 15.22 points. Not a great day. But much better than if you had started, say ...

Oh yes, Manning struggled once again against the Redskins, putting up 4.28 fantasy points, thanks to three interceptions. And yes, I put all of my faith in Eli (only because the Titans refused to start Jake Locker) and he ruined my fantasy life. Honestly, playing Eli is akin to dating a Kardashian. It seems like a good idea at first, but then you end up with that same glazed over look on your face like Bruce Jenner after some bad plastic surgery.

Speaking of dating a Kardashian, Bush had another solid game, going for 203 rushing yards and a touchdown. It might be my imagination, but Bush has become a lot better since he's decided to be a football player.

Bush, however, was not the best running back in snowy Buffalo on Sunday. That would be Spiller, who scored a touchdown rushing and receiving for a RB-high of 28.70 points. Don't worry, C.J., you were only 33 weeks too late for this stuff. This was a bad matchup for Spiller, but still managed a prolific day. Sometimes you have to play guys with bad matchups.

But would you do that with Lynch next week at the rugged 49ers? Well, Lynch had a bad matchup against the Bears this week but scored two touchdowns in a respectable 16.70-point performance.

Barber was considered by some to be a more sure bet against the Seahawks, but he couldn't get going. Barber finished with just 33 rushing yards, that likely ended your hopes of a fantasy title.

There are some times when you have to trust your studs, even when they are struggling. Like Megatron, who had 214 receiving yards and two touchdowns. A monster game, and one that, no doubt, led you to the championship round.

And let's not forget White, who had 135 yards and two touchdowns. Many fantasy enthusiasts had wondered if it would be a better play to go with Julio Jones instead of White, but the veteran showed why you need to stick with your studs above all else.

Although sometimes, sticking with your studs can be a bad thing, like those who started Harvin and registered just .70 points. That's right, .70.

And then there's Nelson, who figured to get the majority of the looks with Greg Jennings out. Nope, that didn't happen.

Oh yeah, you too Wes. This wasn't a great matchup for Welker, but we needed more than 4.1 points in the playoffs.

To be fair to Jackson, he's been terrible for the entire season. To expect him to rise up against the Jets was not reasonable. You have only yourself to blame if you had to play Jackson.

But a bad day for the Eagles receivers was a boon for Celek who had 156 yards and a touchdown. Celek has been solid for fantasy owners down the stretch, as he's had at least four receptions in eight of his last nine games.

And speaking of great tight ends, Hernandez helped own the Broncos by recording 129 yards and a touchdown. Hernandez was clearly the Patriots tight end to go with because ...

Gronkowski had just 53 receiving yards and did not score a touchdown. Not a terrible stat line for a tight end. But not one that fantasy owners have come to expect over the past couple of weeks.
