Earlier in the week, it appeared that the leg contusion Rawls suffered wasn't going to be an issue. But as he's continued to miss practice there is reason to be concerned that he'll miss this week's game against the 49ers. When Rawls was healthy last week, he was still being outplayed by Christine Michael. When he's ready to go, this will remain a committee. But if Rawls is gone for too long, might we see that ratio start to slip?

With Donte Moncrief out for an extended period of time, Dorsett will move up a rung on the depth chart. That's the good news. The bad news is that he could lock up with Chargers corner Jason Verrett on those occasions when T.Y. Hilton slides into a slot position. Nonetheless, we learned last week that Andrew Luck has no problem feeding Dorsett downfield targets.

Yeldon got two bites at the starting running back apple but the Jaguars came away with a bad taste in their mouths. In two games Yeldon posted just 67 rushing yards on 28 carries. That's no way to run a railroad. With Chris Ivory expected back in action, Yeldon will be hard pressed to see enough snaps to be fantasy relevant.

Barnidge was in this space last week as a stock up because of the return of Josh McCown. Oops. This week, the Barnyard Dog is a definite downgrade with rookie quarterback Cody Kessler getting the start for the Browns. Not having Corey Coleman to possibly stretch the defense isn't likely to aid in Barnidge's cause. Do you hear the Browns fan sing? Singing the song of angry men.

Theo Riddick is going to be the lead running back in the Lions backfield in light of Ameer Abdullah's potentially season-ending injuries. But Washington should see his way onto the field for a decent number of opportunities. He'll bring a different dynamic to the running game as a bigger back and is likely to be the back of choice around the goal line.

The Bears told us all offseason that they were going to run a committee in their backfield. Then in Week 1, it was The Jeremy Langford Show and we were lulled to sleep. Last week, the committee we were promised arrived. While the Bears offense was mostly ungood, Howard did flash a little bit with limited carries. He should start to see more opportunities as the season progresses.

It was nice that Taylor hit a few big plays in last week's game against the Jets, but there wasn't much else in the performance to be encouraged about. Hoping Greg Salas gets lost in coverage isn't exactly a winning strategy. If Sammy Watkiins continues to be hobbled, this passing game is going nowhere and taking Tyrod with it.

ROOKIE TIGHT END ALERT! Once you've finished telling me that they never produce, let me respond by telling you that Henry pops on film and slides into a (temporary) starting role in an offense desperately in need of playmaking pass-catchers. Don't expect Hunter to be a huge thing this season, but dynasty owners should take note of what could potentially be the tight end of the future in San Diego.

With Zach Ertz out of action, Burton was targeted seven times -- including a short throw that turned into a touchdown. The Eagles aren't expecting to have Ertz again this weekend against the Steelers. Just keep in mind that this will be a much different defensive challenge than what Philly faced last week against the Bears.

It looks like Eifert is still a couple of weeks away from getting back on the field, but it's encouraging that he's starting to get some work on the practice field again. The Bengals are throwing the ball in the red zone at an egregious rate (72 percent). That number is likely to come down a little bit but Eifert's return means he'll once again be Dalton's target of choice.
