There is widespread belief that Luck won't continue to struggle like this all season, but the panic surrounding the Colts quarterback is definitely real right now. Yet, there is no denying that the former Stanford star isn't producing like the second-round pick that he was in plenty of leagues (or first-round pick). Hopefully a matchup against the Jaguars this week will get his arrow pointed in the right direction.

Who needs wide receivers? Apparently not Newton. Despite having a wide receiving corps led by Ted Ginn, Newton is the fourth-highest scoring player in all of fantasy football. That is thanks, in part, to the dynamic quarterback having better rushing stats than such running back luminaries as Marshawn Lynch, Jeremy Hill and Frank Gore. Don't look for Cam to slow down against the Bucs defense this week.

Dalton became a popular punchline all throughout the offseason, but who's laughing now? The Red Rifle has fired true through the first three weeks of the season, throwing for 866 yards with eight touchdowns and just one interception. All in all, Dalton is the third-highest scorer in fantasy football and has a particularly tasty matchup against a Chiefs secondary that has given up a league-worst 10 passing touchdowns this season -- including five last week against Aaron Rodgers.

Beast Mode hasn't been too beastly this season. Lynch is averaging just 3.4 yards per carry through the first three weeks of the season and was nearly invisible in the Week 3 contest against the Bears because of a hamstring injury. This week, he's no lock to play on Monday night against the Lions, which means Thomas Rawls could see a lot of work once again.

The Dolphins offense has left something to be desired in the first month of the season, but Matthews has been a nice revelation. The fourth-year receiver leads Miami in receiving yards and touchdowns. It's apparent that he's solidified himself as the No. 2 receiver in the offense and should continue to be productive for the foreseeable future.

The arrow just continues to point down on Morris. Despite still being a talented running back, it appears that his opportunities to produce in the Washington offense are continually diminishing. The worst part is that it's not only rookie Matt Jones getting snaps, but the much-less heralded Chris Thompson. At best, Morris is part of a very confusing committee. That's not a headache anyone wants.

It hasn't been a great start to the season for former Cal running backs. Lynch, Justin Forsett and Anderson have all had poor starts to their season. Anderson's might be the most disappointing as the Broncos rusher enters Week 4 as the 64th-ranked running back, with fewer points than Zach Line and Antonio Andrews. That is, in a word, ungood.

Welcome back, A.J. Green! A rising tide lifts all boats and the Andy Dalton surge has helped elevate Green back to the top of the wide receiver ranks. The Georgia product is fourth in receiving yards and ranks fourth among players at his position. He once again looks like the player that fantasy managers eagerly drafted as a WR1 in seasons past.

I haven't completely abandoned the Doug Martin hype train ... but I am checking for the next stop. Martin succeeds most as a volume runner, but the Bucs' game scripts haven't really favored that outcome. As such, he's yet to post 80 rushing yards in a contest. At a sub-optimal 3.8 yards per carry, he'll need far more than the 15 attempts per game he's currently seeing in order to be productive.

At least for one week, Freeman got the volume that fantasy owners covet. The second-year rusher stepped in for an injured Tevin Coleman and posted 193 scrimmage yards on 35 total touches. If Coleman can't go this week, Freeman should once again see a high volume of snaps against the Texans. Ride the hot hand as long as you can.
