Week 7 Fantasy Football Stockwatch
If we've learned anything in the first six weeks of the NFL season, it's that no team or position group is immune to injury. Then again, we pretty much already knew that. Nonetheless when injuries strike, the Fantasy Stockwatch is here to let you know what it could mean for your fantasy team's lineup. Let's hope for the best in lucky Week 7.

We've been here before. Just a couple of weeks ago it looked like Eifert was set to make his 2016 debut when he had an injury setback. The matchup is certainly a tasty one against the Browns -- especially for a Bengals offense that desperately needs a red-zone receiving threat. We're keeping our fingers crossed that Eifert finally has his injury issues behind him and that his fantasy managers will be rewarded for their season-long patience.

After missing the past few games with a toe injury, it looks like Murray is back and ready to go for the Raiders against the Jaguars this week. That's positive news for him ... but we can only hope that he actually gets a reasonable number of touches. Murray has yet to see more than 15 touches in any game as DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard have worked their way into the offense. But if most of life is just showing up, Murray is giving us reason for optimism.

Pryor has been the most reliable pass-catcher in the Browns offense, but he's dealing with a hamstring injury that could keep him off the field this week against the Bengals. Even if he does play, it's likely that his snaps and on-field activity could be limited. If Pryor can't go, it will be hard to trust any other Browns wide receivers, though Gary Barnidge could see an uptick in targets.

There's quite a bit of tight end news this week. Graham has been dealing with knee and hip injuries that have limited him in practice this week. His status for Sunday's showdown with the Cardinals remains in doubt. Even if he does play, the matchup is a negative one against a defense that has been extra stingy against tight ends. Having Graham face that defense at less than 100 percent isn't optimal.

Gillislee saw some work last week and scored a touchdown in the blowout win over the 49ers. This week, he could see a big workload against the Miami Dolphins as LeSean McCoy is dealing with a hamstring injury and is in danger of missing this week's contest. On paper, it's not the greatest matchup as the Dolphins have allowed just one rushing touchdown but hopefully the volume of touches and a 4.3 average yards per carry allowed make up for it.

The Jaguars offense as a whole has been underwhelming and Thomas hasn't been immune to the struggles. But offensive coordinator Greg Olson says the team would like to get their athletic tight end more involved in the passing game. With the Raiders and their porous defense on tap for this week, it seems like an excellent time for Thomas' role to increase.

We're still waiting on Brown to have a big breakout game this season and it doesn't appear like it's going to happen this week. The speedy Cardinals receiver is dealing with a hamstring injury and might not be able to go on Sunday. Then again, the matchup against the Seahawks isn't a great one -- especially for an offense that has struggled to get its downfield passing game going.

The fact that Tyrod Taylor enters Week 7 as the overall QB12 is nothing short of miraculous considering he's averaging just 179.3 passing yards per game with an abysmal pass-catching corps. He's mainly done it by protecting the football (three turnovers all season). But now that Robert Woods is in a walking boot and looking questionable to play, it means Taylor could be without one more weapon. At some point, this is all going to catch up with him.

Did I mention there was a lot of tight end news? Plenty of people either stashed Ladarius Green or recently went and snatched him off waivers anticipating he'd be returning soon. Bad news, everyone. There's no timetable for the Steelers tight end to return to practice. Because of his offseason ankle issue, Green has yet to have any real work with his new team. Add in the injury to Ben Roethlisberger and there's little reason to continue to hold on to Green.

More tight ends! Texans offensive coordinator George Godsey has said that Fiedorowicz is earning a larger role in the Houston passing game. Considering Brock Osweiler's struggle to get the ball downfield, having a reliable tight end option sounds like a pretty good idea. For anyone streaming tight ends, Fiedorowicz might be a name to keep in your back pocket for a spot start later in the year.
