Week 7 winners and losers
Week 7 is in the books, and let's takes a look at Sunday's biggest winners and losers in the world of fantasy football.

In the time it took to write this sentence, Brees threw another touchdown pass. Alright, just kidding. But barely. Brees threw for 325 yards and five touchdown passes in a runaway on Sunday night.

Rivers did not have the worst stat line of any quarterback (hey Curtis Painter), but he was by far the most disappointing. Rivers has struggled as a fantasy quarterback this year, and another dismal performance is pushing him closer to being a matchup-based quarterback in fantasy formats.

Hey look who is at the top of the heap again! Foster struggled with a hamstring injury that was "anti-awesome" to start the year. But Foster has re-established himself as the top fantasy running back going. And now he's catching passes too? Oh boy.

If you listen to the Dave Dameshek Football Program, you know that I'm clamoring to change the phrase "Wally Pipped." I mean, some people don't even know who Drew Pearson is, so why use such a dated reference? Perhaps we should considered Trent Greened. Drew Bledsoed. Or maybe Felix Jonesd. Because that appears to be what is going to happen in Dallas.

For those of us waiting for Johnson to finally turn it on, well, we are still waiting. Johnson is getting closer to being a matchup-based running back, but a date with the Colts looms on the horizon. If he doesn't turn it around against Indianapolis, he might be the biggest bust of 2011.

Colston has reestablished himself as the Saints wide receiver to have, hauling in 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Colston has pushed past his injury and is a safe start for the rest of the season.

Garcon had emerged as the Colts receiver to start, moving past Reggie Wayne because he was the most targeted receiver during Curtis Painter's stint as the starter in Indianapolis. Garcon had become a must-start. We are not so sure now.

I said this in my Like/dislike column this week, there is no reason to sit Graham. Ever. Two more touchdowns this week for Graham who is the top fantasy tight end going.

I really liked Olsen going into this game, but he had only four. Not four points, he had just four yards. Sorry to those of you who I told Olsen was a decent start. That's my bad.

The thing you fear about kickers like Crosby is that the Packers will score five touchdowns, meaning just five points. But thankfully the Packers mixed in some field goals this week to allow Crosby to finish as the top fantasy kicker this week.

And then there are guys like Vinatieri whose team was blown out early, taking away any field goal tries, combined with only one touchdown which led to one point. Just be glad that you received that much. The Colts could have gone for two points if that touchdown had come later than the second quarter.

Yes, the Chiefs were amazing picking off Kyle Boller and Carson Palmer, scoring touchdowns and all of that. The key question, was anybody playing the Chiefs defense?

What you want from your defense is to not kill you. Maybe pick up a few points, a defensive touchdown would be awesome. The Titans did none of that giving owners negative four points.
