Pro Bowl Games 2025 - NFL Green Sustainability

NFL Green Sustainability

Sustainability is a core focus for the NFL, and the league is committed to reducing the environmental impact at each of our events. The NFL strives to not only make each Pro Bowl more sustainable than the last but to also leave a lasting "green legacy" in the host's community.

What you can do:

There are simple steps you can take to help make the Pro Bowl more sustainable!

Help us reduce waste

  • Ensure recyclables are empty, clean, and dry – no foods or liquids remaining.
  • Keep plastic bags and wraps out of recycling.

Travel sustainably

  • Walk when you can – Orlando typically has great weather for walking, and some neighborhoods are easier to navigate by foot then you might think.
  • Utilize public transport and shuttles – Consider a train ride on SunRail or hop on the Lynx bus system. If you are visiting from out of town, check if shuttles are available to connect between places of interest, such as the airport, your hotel, and resorts.
  • Consider an EV rideshare, which is often about the same price as a standard ride.

What the NFL is doing:

The NFL is:

Donating materials and food: The NFL helps reusable materials find a second life after Pro Bowl. Over 20 local organizations, from food banks to schools, will repurpose Pro Bowl items.

Tracking carbon: The NFL is measuring emissions from energy use, travel, and food & merchandise at the Pro Bowl. These data will be used to plan future reduction efforts.

Focusing on the future: Sustainability is a long-term investment and process. The NFL is proud of the work completed to date and is committed to improving sustainability across an expanding array of future events. Learn more about the league's environmental program, NFL Green.
