2021 NFL Helmet Challenge

The $3 million NFL Helmet Challenge charged innovators, entrepreneurs, and helmet manufacturers with developing revolutionary new football helmets that perform better than anything currently worn by NFL players. After two years of work, the results are in: three teams -- Impressio, Kollide and Xenith -- were awarded grant funding to get their helmet designs and technologies on field faster.
