Andrew Luck, QB, Indianapolis Colts: NFL Films senior producer Greg Cosell said Luck could approach 30 touchdowns this season. After Luck told NFL Total Access he was 100 percent more comfortable with Pep Harris' offense, things can only get better for Luck this season.
Colin Kaepernick, QB, San Francisco 49ers: Kaepernick took over the league last year after he relieved Alex Smith of his starting duties in San Francisco. There are concerns the league could catch up to him this season. Yet, if you saw his run against the Packers in the playoffs, it doesn't look like anybody can catch him.
Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons: Ryan has never finished in the top five, but that could change this year. Steven Jackson is a much better receiver out of the backfield over Michael Turner. And Ryan gets a huge boost with the un-retirement of Tony Gonzalez.
C.J. Spiller, RB, Buffalo Bills: Spiller made the case to be the lead back in Buffalo with solid production after Fred Jackson went down last year. Spiller could crack the top 5 with a full season as the lead back.
Trent Richardson, RB, Cleveland Browns: Richardson had a solid season during his rookie season with the Browns thanks to his nose for the end zone. Richardson could have a bigger 2013 if he can stay healthy.
Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta Falcons: Jones has been poised to be the No. 1 receiver for the Falcons since he was drafted in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft. This is the year he seizes the mantle for good.
Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers: Cobb was impressive during his first extensive use in 2012. Now with Greg Jennings in Minnesota, Cobb is destined to exceed his numbers this season. More than 1,000 receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns are doable.
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings: Rudolph had a tremendous rookie campaign with nine touchdowns. He could duplicate those numbers again and his yardage totals should rise as he becomes a bigger part of the Vikings' offense.
