- The Detroit Lions are signing safety Jamal Adams to their practice squad, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. The team later announced the news.
- Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was ejected from Sunday's win over Jacksonville due to his unnecessary roughness penalty for hitting Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence late on a slide. Safeties Jimmie Ward (head) and Eric Murray (hand) exited early with injuries.
- Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (concussion) was ruled out against the Texans. Cornerback Jarrian Jones was ejected from the game against Houston due to his role in a scuffle following a late hit on Lawrence. CB Tyson Campbell suffered a thigh injury.
