Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 7 Sunday:
- Atlanta Falcons offensive lineman Matthew Bergeron cleared concussion protocol but was ruled out with a neck injury against the Seahawks.
- Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard exited with an ankle injury against Tennessee.
- Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Orlando Brown exited with a knee injury against the Browns. Safety Geno Stone was ruled out with a left leg injury.
- Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was ruled out after suffering an Achilles injury in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Bengals. It's feared Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles tear, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Backup QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson was ruled out in the fourth quarter with a finger injury. Thompson-Robinson's injury is not believed to have suffered a major injury, but how he responds to treatment and can grip a football will determine his availability, Rapoport reported.
- Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery briefly exited against Minnesota with a knee injury before returning in the second quarter.
- Indianapolis Colts linebacker Jaylon Carlies (calf) was ruled out versus the Dolphins after exiting in the second quarter.
- Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Cam Robinson was ruled out with a concussion during Sunday's win over New England.
- Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) was ruled out versus the 49ers. Cornerback Jaylen Watson (ankle) did not return.
- Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell (thumb) exited the 20-15 loss to the Rams in the first quarter. He is believed to have suffered a broken thumb based on preliminary tests and will undergo further evaluation Monday, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Gardner Minshew is in at QB. Tight end Harrison Bryant (elbow) left in the fourth quarter.
- Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who was inactive Sunday with an ankle injury, is expected to return from his absence for Thursday night's Week 8 game versus the Vikings, head coach Sean McVay told reporters.
- Miami Dolphins quarterback Tyler Huntley was ruled out against the Colts after suffering a right shoulder injury in the third quarter. Tim Boyle entered the game in relief. Cornerback Storm Duck (ankle) was also ruled out.
- New England Patriots offensive lineman Layden Robinson (ankle) was ruled out during Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Wide receivers Demario Douglas (illness) and Ja'Lynn Polk (head) did not not return after exiting in the second half.
- New York Giants linebacker Ty Summers (ankle) was ruled out against Philly. Cornerback Cordale Flott left with a groin injury.
- New York Jets offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) and safety Tony Adams (hamstring) did not return against the Steelers. Safety Ashtyn Davis was evaluated for a concussion and did not return. Offensive lineman Xavier Newman suffered a neck injury after being blocked on an interception return, after which he was stabilized on a backboard, carted off the field and taken to a local hospital. NBC's Melissa Stark reported during the game broadcast that Newman has movement in his limbs. Following the game, head coach Jeff Ulbrich said tests on Newman were negative and he will travel home with the team.
- Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Montravius Adams (knee) did not return against the Jets. Cornerback Donte Jackson (shoulder) was ruled out.
- Philadelphia Eagles guard Mekhi Becton was ruled out against the Giants due to a concussion. Linebacker Zack Baun left with a shoulder injury.
- San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) was carted to the locker room and ruled out against the Chiefs. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said the team is "worried" Aiyuk suffered an ACL injury but that it not confirmed and he will undergo further testing Monday. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel (illness) was ruled out in the third quarter after playing just three snaps. Left tackle Trent Williams was ejected in the fourth quarter for throwing a punch.
- Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter against the Falcons and was carted into the locker room.
- Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (ribs) was ruled out against the Panthers. Daniels is believed to have avoided a long-term injury and will be reevaluated Monday, NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reported. Offensive tackle link-placeholder-33 were ruled out against the Panthers.
