Chip Kelly won't be winning Coach of the Year honors, but Arizona's Bruce Arians is on the radar to grab the award for a third time in four years.
Were that to happen, the duo would have a monopoly on the award, with Arians landing it in 2012, Rivera in 2013, Arians in 2014 and Rivera this season.
If not Rivera, Arians says he'd lobby for Andy Reid, who turned the 1-5 Chiefs into a 10-5 beast with a remarkable nine-game win streak that triggered an AFC playoff berth.
"Andy would be real close," Arians said, per ESPN.com's Josh Weinfuss. "Being 1-5 and then doing what they're doing, it's amazing."
We'll find out if Arians, Rivera, Reid or a mystery candidate wins coaching gold for 2016 when the 5th Annual NFL Honors kicks off on February 6 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
