Bears' Brandon Marshall (ankle) returns vs. Jets

Brandon Marshall is having more trouble with his injured ankle.

The Chicago Bears wide receiver exited Monday night's 27-19 win over the New York Jets after aggravating a right ankle injury. Marshall was initially listed as probable to return but was quickly downgraded to questionable after heading to the Bears' locker room.

He returned for the first play of the second half.

Marshall played on the ankle last Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers, catching three touchdown passes in the comeback win.

A limited Marshall could mean a bigger role for Santonio Holmes, who was booed lustily by his former home crowd after a 6-yard reception in the first quarter.

The Jets weren't so lucky with their primary pass-catcher -- Eric Decker left in the first half with a hamstring injury and did not return.
