CINCINNATI -- The Bengals put safety Chinedum Ndukwe on injured reserve Monday with a severe left knee injury.
Ndukwe got his left knee bent sideways at the bottom of a pile while making a tackle during a 23-7 loss in Pittsburgh. He had to be helped off the field.
Ndukwe has started five games this season and appeared in a dozen overall. He was the leading tackler in Cincinnati's depleted secondary and had one sack and one interception. The Bengals didn't immediately replace him on the roster.
The Bengals (2-11) have tied the club record with 10 straight losses heading into a game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns (5-8).
