Cowboys OLB Micah Parsons (ankle) active vs. Eagles

There's some good news for the Dallas Cowboys.

Pass rusher Micah Parsons (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's Week 10 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The two-time All-Pro edge rusher was a limited participant in practice the entire week and was listed as questionable for the NFC East tilt.

Parsons, who has been out since Week 5, is set to return to action after missing the last four games. Parsons suffered a high ankle sprain in the Week 4 win over the New York Giants. Defensive end Demarcus Lawrence also suffered a foot injury in the victory.

In the four games Parsons missed, Dallas went 1-3. The Cowboys' most recent loss in Week 9 saw quarterback Dak Prescott exit the game against the Atlanta Falcons. Prescott suffered a hamstring injury and will visit another specialist Monday before deciding whether to undergo season-ending surgery on his injured hamstring, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday.

Parsons is a significant boost to the defense that has struggled in the last three games, allowing 27 or more points in the losses.

In four games played this season, Parsons has six QB hits, two tackles for loss and one sack.

The Cowboys (3-5) and Eagles (6-2) kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday in Dallas.
