Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins on trade chatter: 'I love where I am'

Two big-name wide receivers have already changed locations this week, making DeAndre Hopkins the next man up for the rumor mill.

For his part, the 32-year receiver isn't considering the possibility of being traded.

"I've been playing for a long time," Hopkins said Thursday, via the team's official website. "My mind is very much set on Buffalo this week."

Hopkins is in the final year of his contract, which heightens the trade chatter.

The veteran started the season slowly, coming off of an injury. Hopkins has 14 catches for 175 with a lone touchdown in five games.

On an offense with Hopkins, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd, the Titans have struggled to pass the ball. In five contests, the Titans have passed for 200-plus yards once (204). Given the issues, a star wideout like Hopkins could be considered a luxury for a 1-4 club.

However, the wideout isn't itching to move to a contender.

"I love my life," he said. "I love where I am. God put me where I need to be, and He always will. I play football."

The question is whether he'll continue to play football in Nashville or take his talent elsewhere for the balance of the season.
