Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was involved in a domestic dispute Monday, but no charges were filed, according to an incident report obtained by NFL Media.
"On Monday, we were informed that the police were called to Tyreek Hill's home, and after conversations with Tyreek and members of his family, the police departed the residence without further incident and the case was closed," a Dolphins spokesperson said in a statement obtained by NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero. "We have since been in communication with Tyreek and the NFL and will have no further comment on the matter."
Sunny Isles Beach Police (Florida) were dispatched to the 18000 block of Collins Ave. at 1:57 p.m. Monday after receiving a report of an assault in progress.
Police said Alesia Vaccaro, the mother of Keeta Hill, Tyreek's wife, had called authorities. Vaccaro said the 31-year-old Tyreek threw a computer on the floor and grabbed his daughter following a heated argument with Keeta.
Keeta Hill said she was in the process of a filing for a divorce, according to police.
Keeta and Tyreek Hill said the altercation never got physical, but officers stated they saw a light bruise on the upper chest area of Keeta Hill. Keeta Hill said she believed it happened "without malice" when Tyreek Hill took the baby.
Tyreek Hill left the residence at 2:40 p.m., while Keeta Hill and Vaccaro remained. Keeta Hill was issued a case card.
This is not the first incident for Tyreek Hill.
In September of 2024, Hill was involved in an altercation with police in which traffic citations were ultimately dismissed after officers did not appear in court. Hill was pulled over prior to a Week 1 game. He got into a verbal exchange with officers before he was then pulled from the car and forced face-first to the ground.
Hill was under investigation in 2023 for assault and battery of a man at a Florida marina. The incident was resolved.
Hill, while a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, was investigated in 2019 for battery of his then-3-year-old son, but charges were not filed.
While at Oklahoma State, Hill pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation in which he received a sentence that included three years probation and resulted in him being kicked off the team.
Hill, a 2016 NFL Draft fifth-round pick by the Chiefs, has played nine NFL seasons -- six for Kansas City and three for Miami. He's accumulated 798 receptions for 11,098 yards and 82 touchdowns over a career that's seen him win a Super Bowl, voted to eight Pro Bowls and earn five All-Pro designations.
