Manti Te'o has found a new home in New Orleans.
ESPN first reported the news.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the linebacker's deal is worth $5 million with $600K guaranteed ($500K per year is tied to per-game bonuses).
Te'o logged 221 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two interceptions in 38 career games with the Chargers, though injuries likely led to the linebacker's departure from Southern California. The former Notre Dame star missed time throughout his Chargers career with various foot and ankle ailments, eventually ending the 2016 season on injured reserve with a torn Achilles tendon.
