Calvin Johnsonis in London. Calvin Johnson is running in London. But Calvin Johnson is just barely practicing in London.
The Detroit Lions' star receiver was listed as limited Wednesday as he continues to attempt a comeback from his injured ankle.
It's not a shock that Megatron wasn't much of a participant in another practice. Whether or not he plays Sunday stems little from if he practices mid-week.
We would still be surprised if the wideout suited up Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, as the Lions could try to buy two extra weeks of rest for Johnson -- with the bye week coming up -- instead of putting him in harms way at less than 100 percent and chancing a reaggravation of the injury.
Here are some other injuries we are following Wednesday:
- Lions tight ends Eric Ebron (hamstring), Brandon Pettigrew (undisclosed) and Joseph Fauria (ankle) didn't practice. The team signed veteran Kellen Davis this week due to all the injuries at the position.
- New York Giants linebacker Jon Beason (toe) says there is a "50-50" chance he's done for the season.
- A dispatch from NFL Media's Steve Wyche from across the pond in London: Falcons receiver Harry Douglas, who has missed the past four games with a foot injury, won't practice today, according to Coach Mike Smith. However, Douglas will go through a rehab workout today to determine if he will practice the rest of the week and possibly play against the LionsSunday.
Falcons defensive lineman Jonathan Babineaux (ankle) will not practice Wednesday either, Smith said.
- Robert Griffin III took first team reps during Redskins practice Wednesday. Griffin wasn't made available to the media, and coach Jay Gruden has already announced Colt McCoy will be the starting quarterback Sunday if Griffin isn't ready to go.
- Bills safety Aaron Williams suffered a neck injury in Sunday's last-second win over the Vikings, but he was back on the practice field Wednesday.
- Panthers running back DeAngelo Williamswas not in pads on Wednesday and was expected to work on the side during practice.

- Bears tight end Martellus Bennett (hamstring) missed Wednesday's practice but said he expects to practice Thursday and play Sunday.
- For the Chargers, Brandon Flowers has been ruled out with a concussion, while Jason Verrett (shoulder) was a limited participant all week and is listed as questionable. Per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, there is a "very good chance" San Diego will be without Verrett against the Broncos on Thursday Night Football. The Chargerswill likely startRichard Marshall and Shareece Wright -- the same duo that started in last year's win over Denver -- according to Rapoport.
- Alan Ball (biceps) and Andre Branch (groin) did not participate in Wednesday's practice with the Jaguars, though Toby Gerhart was back, per the Florida Times-Union.
- Bill O'Brien said Jadeveon Clowney, who was limited Wednesday, is getting "better and better everyday" and will probably be a game-time decision. The coach sounded optimistic the team's No. 1 pick will play Sunday. Andre Johnson (ankle) was also limited, while Brian Cushing (knee) did not participate in practice, per the Houston Chronicle.
