Jordan Cameronspurned the Cleveland Browns for the Miami Dolphins on Thursday evening.
The tight end then told the Dolphins' official team website that the chance to play with Ryan Tannehill played a role in swaying him to South Beach.
"He's young and he's willing to work," Cameron said. "He puts the hours in. They were singing his praises all day today. It was definitely a big part of my decision."
While Tannehill still has plenty of room to improve, the Dolphins hope a playmaking tight end like Cameron can spur his development.
Cleveland, meanwhile, can take Cameron's quote as another shot at its unending quarterback quagmire, which now pits Josh McCown against Johnny Manziel.
Our favorite line on the topic comes from Bud Shaw of the Northeast Ohio Media Group:
"Somehow, Thursday's acquisition of Thad Lewis did not sway him."
