  • Head coach Matt Eberflus was fired by Chicago following the team's sixth straight loss and a 4-8 start to the season, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported. Rapoport, Pelissero and NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo also reported that offensive coordinator Thomas Brown will take over as interim head coach.

  • DL Dexter Lawrence suffered a dislocated elbow Thursday against the Cowboys and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Daboll told reporters Friday that Lawrence had a "long-term" injury.
