ROSTER CUTS

  • LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin is slated to be released when the new league year begins, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported, per a source.

SIGNINGS

  • G Trey Smith will be receiving the franchise tag but the Chiefs hope to strike a long-term deal and will continue those discussions, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Rapoport adds Smith will earn $23.4 million fully guaranteed in 2025 on the one-year deal.

  • TE Travis Kelce will officially return for another season. The New Heights social media account for Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast posted confirmation on Thursday, stating, "ITS TIME FOR YEAR 13." NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport had reported on Feb. 25 that the All-Pro tight end was expected to return.

Combine News

Elijah Arroyo
Miami · TE

Arroyo will not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine due to a knee bruise he suffered at the Reese's Senior Bowl, NFL.com's Dan Parr reported. Arroyo added that he will be fine and participate in his Miami pro day.

Abdul Carter
Penn State · EDGE

After consulting with doctors again this morning, Carter's plan is to not have surgery for the small stress reaction in his right foot and work out at his Penn State pro day, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday. Rapoport added that the pass-rushing prospect has reported no pain for the injury and should be OK.

Mason Graham
Michigan · DT

Graham will only do the bench press at the NFL Scouting Combine but will work out at his Michigan pro day, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per his agent Ryan Matha. 

Kenneth Grant
Michigan · DT

Grant won’t do on-field drills at the NFL Scouting Combine after his MRI showed a mild hamstring strain, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported. Garafolo adds that Grant will be ready for his Michigan pro day.

Travis Hunter
Colorado · CB/WR

Hunter told reporters Thursday that he plans on playing both cornerback and wide receiver positions in the NFL and wants to play 100% of snaps. The Colorado prospect wouldn't reveal with teams he's had meetings with at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Colston Loveland
Michigan · TE

Loveland told reporters Thursday that he underwent surgery on his shoulder last month and expects a full recovery. The Michigan TE prospect also revealed he met with the Broncos, Colts and Texans.

Shemar Stewart
Texas A&M · EDGE

Stewart, who ran a 4.59 40-yard dash, tweaked his hamstring on his first attempt, NFL Network's Stacey Dales reported. Stewart did not continue on to do position drills but will be OK, per Dales.

Tyler Warren
Penn State · TE

Warren has met with the Buccaneers, Colts and Dolphins at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, the Penn State product told reporters on Thursday.
