Packers list Jordan Love (knee) as questionable for Week 2 vs. Colts

Packers quarterback Jordan Love avoided the worst news with his knee injury suffered in Week 1, and after a week of treatment, he could end up playing in Week 2.

Green Bay officially listed Love on Friday as questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

"He's doing good," Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters Friday. "He's got a great attitude and is working hard and getting better every day."

Love suffered the knee injury in the final seconds of the Packers' Week 1 loss to the Eagles in Sao Paulo, Brazil, causing hearts to sink across Wisconsin at the start of a highly anticipated 2024 campaign and forcing Green Bay to turn to recently acquired backup Malik Willis for the final two snaps. Further examination revealed Love suffered an MCL spain, providing new hope the Packers might not be without him for very long.

Willis, a quarterback with only three career starts under his belt, has been preparing "in overdrive" for a potential Week 2 start.

With Love being listed as questionable, there's a chance the Packers won't need Willis on Sunday. But a questionable designation is just that: uncertain.
