Packers sign former Broncos CB Bell for needed depth

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Packers signed former Denver Broncos cornerback Josh Bell to undisclosed terms Tuesday.

The Packers are lacking depth at cornerback after Al Harris' season-ending knee injury. Bell played in nine games, including five starts, for the Broncos last season.

Bell signed with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Baylor and spent the 2008 preseason with the team. He later joined the Broncos' practice squad and was signed to the active roster. Denver cut him before the start of this season.
