The Green Bay Packers have suspended Romeo Doubs one game for conduct detrimental to the team and the wide receiver will miss Sunday's road game versus the Los Angeles Rams, the team announced Saturday.
"Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week's game," Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said, via the team's official website. "His decisions and actions during the week negatively impacted the team and required us to take this action. While we are certainly disappointed, we are confident that we will be able to move forward in a positive manner. Romeo is a valuable member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week."
Doubs' suspension comes after the wideout missed the last two practices with what the team called personal reasons. He was listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Rams.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday that there is an expectation Doubs will rejoin the team next week.
A 2022 fourth-round pick out of Nevada, Doubs has 12 receptions for 169 yards on 20 targets in four starts this season. He's coming off a career-best season in 2023 in which he produced 59 receptions for 674 yards and eight touchdowns (16 starts).
