The Patriots have lost another member of their front seven to injury.
Defensive tackle Dominique Easley has been placed on season-ending injured reserve, the team announced. Tom E. Curran of CSN New England first reported the news. Easley left Sunday night's win over the Texans -- during which he tallied a sack -- with a thigh injury.
The second-year lineman out of Florida has compiled just 25 tackles and three sacks since being drafted by Bill Belichick in the first round of the 2015 draft.
Though overshadowed by rookie tackle Malcom Brown this year, Easley missing the remainder of the season is still a great loss for the Patriots, who continue to be ravaged by injuries coming down the stretch.
