One day after releasing left tackle Max Starks, the Steelers released veteran right tackle Flozell Adams, the *Pittsburgh Tribune-Review* reported Friday.
Adams was the only Steelers lineman to start every game for the team last season, but at age 36, he was set to make $5 million this season. The newspaper reports that Pittsburgh might attempt to re-sign Adams for a more affordable contract.
Before spending last season with the Steelers, Adams spent 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, making five Pro Bowls.
The Steelers also signed offensive tackles Willie Colon and Jonathan Scott on Thursday.
