Rex Ryan expects Tyrod Taylor back '100 percent'

Rex Ryan plans to get his starting quarterback on the field this week.

"We expect Tyrod Taylor to be back, 100 percent, and ready to play on Sunday," the Buffalo Bills coach said.

Taylor returned to the practice field Monday following the team's bye week, after missing the past two games with a knee injury.

The mobile quarterback was the fulcrum of the Bills' offense before the knee injury, completing 70.1 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns, four interceptions and 187 yards on the ground to go with two rushing scores.

EJ Manuel disappointed in his two starts this season in place of Taylor, both Bills losses, including a disastrous first-half stretch in a defeat in London to the Jaguars in Week 7.

At 3-4, with its season on brink, getting Taylor back on the field should bring some life back to a banged up Buffalo offense.

Ryan added he feels good about Sammy Watkins' recovery from a nagging ankle injury. The wideout worked on the side during Monday's practice, per ESPN. Ryan expects Watkins to be limited in practice on Wednesday.
