Welker among nine Patriots questionable for Super Bowl rematch

New England Patriots wideout Wes Welker is questionable with a neck injury for Sunday's Super Bowl XLII rematch against the New York Giants.

Welker has practiced on a limited basis the past two days after skipping Tuesday's workout. Welker showed no signs of an injury following the Patriots' Week 8 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers but mysteriously appeared on the Patriots' Wednesday injury report, though the injury was not viewed as serious.

Welker leads the NFL with 57 receptions for 824 yards and six touchdowns.

Welker was one of nine Patriots listed as questionable on the team's report, including defensive end Shaun Ellis (rib), running backs Kevin Faulk (knee) and BenJarvus Green-Ellis (toe), defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back), tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee) and offensive lineman Sebastian Vollmer (back).
