The Arizona Cardinals travel to Denver to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos on Sunday afternoon in a highly-anticipated matchup.
Cardinals players are ready to make a statement.
"This ain't no normal game," linebacker Larry Foote said, per the Associated Press. "I know if we get this victory, a lot more cameras are going to be in this locker room. ... It's a statement game."
The Cardinals are one of two undefeated teams remaining after winning three close games. Coach Bruce Arians said his team is ready to get up against Manning and show the national audience his team is for real.
"It's great," he said. "You want to be in a five-star game. You want Joe Buck and Troy Aikman doing your games."
Arizona will travel as underdogs to Mile High with quarterback Drew Stanton making his third straight start.
Receiver Larry Fitzgerald believes the Cardinals can play even better than they have in their victories this season. Doing it on a big stage will send notice to the rest of the league.
"We're a confident group," Fitzgerald said. "This is the NFL. There's ups and downs. You play good some weeks, you play bad some weeks. To be honest with you, we haven't played our best football. We haven't put together a game where we can say, 'Man, this is our statement game.'"
