College football annually presents a wide variety of marvelous player names. Whether the names are totally unique, difficult to pronounce or just plain fun to say, this is a starting lineup of the best names in college football for 2015.

The players on the 2015 college football all-name team don't just possess interesting names, but are also expected to be contributors for their respective teams this fall. Only those who are expected to play made the cut; in other words, if you tune in to watch a game involving that player's team, you should hear said player's name during the broadcast.

The Cleveland Browns' decision to move on from Johnny Manziel after just two seasons highlights just how the NFL performances of Heisman winners varies tremendously. While Manziel's NFL career is in jeopardy, the two players who followed him as Heisman winners -- Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota -- seem to have promising NFL careers ahead of them.

It also should be noted that in this exercise we are not excluding Reggie Bush, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2005 but voluntarily forfeited his trophy in 2010. While records can be vacated years after the fact, you can't take away the memories.

Forget picking from among flotsam and jetsam such as Ohio State-Hawaii, FSU-Texas State, Oklahoma-Akron, Oregon-Georgia State and Florida-New Mexico State; those games actually are intriguing compared to the ones we're spotlighting. What we don't like is FBS teams scheduling games against bad FCS teams.

We know that some of the FBS teams we're picking on do have some good non-conference games. And we're aware that some of these spotlighted games were scheduled at the last minute. But that in no way absolves anyone of blame.
