Stanford is home to a number of quality two-sport athletes, and Brandt-Sims appears to be the latest member of the club. He redshirted for the football team last season, but is expected to contribute at wide receiver and on special teams in 2015 after an all-state career in high school as a tailback. He really tears it up on the track, though, having won the Washington state 100- and 200-meter titles all four years of his high school career. He recently posted the nation's fourth-best mark among football players in the 200-meter dash for the Cardinal track team.

Humphrey is a former five-star recruit who hails from a very athletic family; his dad, Bobby, was a star for Tide and spent several years in the NFL. Marlon Humphrey redshirted last season for the Crimson Tide football team, but is in the mix for playing time in the secondary this fall after a good spring. He is only a few ticks behind teammate Tony Brown when it comes to the hurdles events, and helped Alabama's track team set a school record this year in the 4x400 relay.

A player who is just as quick as he is fast, Ramsey has outstanding NFL potential. He starred for the Seminoles as a freshman and was a key member of the team during its run to the College Football Playoff last season. He ran a 10.61 in the 100-meter dash at the ACC Championships and is one of the best long-jumpers in the country. He's even aiming for a spot in the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Ezekiel Elliott drew much of the attention for the Buckeyes as they wrapped up a national title, but Samuel was also a key contributor in 2014 and actually started a game in the middle of the season. He was one of the fastest recruits in the country a year ago and the speedster figures to play a larger role on the football team this fall.

Brown split his spring between track and football for the Crimson Tide and excelled in both. He is in line to start at corner for the team in the fall. Brown holds the third-fastest 110-meter hurdle time among football players nationally, and fell just short of making it to Eugene for the NCAA championship meet. He holds state records in Texas and is considered to be one of the fastest players for the defending SEC football champions.

Injuries have hampered Tyner, but he will become a key player on the football team alongside Royce Freeman in the fall. He busted out for 124 yards and two touchdowns on just 13 touches for the Ducks in the Rose Bowl thumping of Florida State. Tyner is known for his prowess on the track as a high school athlete -- he recorded times as fast as 10.35 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

Burns won three state titles in the 110-meter hurdles in high school and has continued to make waves on the track for the Hurricanes. He holds the top time in the country among football players in the 110-meter hurdles this year, and went to the NCAA national track and field meet in the same event. Burns is a dangerous return man for the Hurricanes and one of their better cornerbacks, too.

Already one of the most versatile and freakish players in college football, Jackson is as fast on the football field as he is on the track. His time of 10.48 seconds in the 100-meter dash at the Pac-12 Championships was good enough for a seventh-place finish against some of the top sprinters in the country. His time ranks fifth among college football players in the event nationally. He also took home the Pac-12 men's long-jump title, and has the quickness to match his speed in just about everything he does.

A Florida native, Johnson broke prep track records once held by none other than Sammy Watkins. Johnson wasn't a major contributor on offense for Arizona last season, but he was the Wildcats' top kick returner and averaged nearly 24 yards per return. He took home the bronze in the Pac-12 championships in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.41 seconds.

This player's last name suits his style of play, as he often looks like he's been shout out of a cannon on the football field. He set six school records as a freshman on the football team last season and is poised to do even more heading into 2015. He has recorded times as fast as 10.37 seconds in the 100-meter dash and is an athletic freak.

The Seminoles have a ton of super-fast players, but Whitfield would likely win a race against any of the football players (and would hold his own against the school's top sprinters from the track team, too). He was clocked as fast as 10.35 seconds in the 100-meter dash in high school, and showed off his speed in the 2014 BCS national championship game against Auburn with a 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown.

The son of TCU running backs coach Curtis Luper, Cameron Echols-Luper is an accomplished special-teams player for the Horned Frogs and was selected All-Big 12 honorable mention last season in his capacity as a returner. Among football players who also run track, he posted the fastest 200-meter time in the country with a 20.39-second clocking at the Big 12 championships last month -- nearly three-tenths of a second faster than his best time last year.

Cal is primarily a passing team, but the diminutive back can rack up yards on the ground. He won back-to-back sprint titles in California in high school (only the third person ever to do so) and posted the second-fastest 100-meter-dash time (a wind-aided time of 10.35 seconds) among FBS football players this track season.

Allen played a key role in the Ducks' run to the College Football Playoff last season before suffering an injury early in the Rose Bowl. In 2014, he became the first person to win both the U.S. Track and Field title and the NCAA title in the 110-meter hurdles since 1979 (when former San Francisco 49ers WR Renaldo Nehemiah accomplished the feat), and Allen's NCAA-title-winning time of 13.16 seconds is the second-fastest in NCAA history.

Listenbee emerged as a solid target in the passing game (second on the team in receiving) last season for the Horned Frogs. He caught the attention of many by throwing a touchdown on the second play of TCU's route of Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl. He's more accomplished on the track side, though, posting the fastest time in the country among football players in the 100-meter dash (10.04 seconds wind-aided) and second-fastest time among football players in the 200-meter dash. You can't teach this kind of speed.
