Next Gen Stats: Biggest free agency, draft needs
The Green Bay Packers are in a pickle while the San Francisco 49ers deal with safety strains. Take a look at some of the biggest weaknesses teams must address this offseason.

Cleveland needs to improve at many positions, but quarterback is the Browns' biggest need. DeShone Kizer was below the NFL average in all 12 Next Gen Stats passing metrics.

The New York Giants' interior pass rush needs help. They had the worst pressure rate (7.5 percent) in the NFL this season.

One of the Colts' biggest weaknesses on the offensive side of the ball this season was their line. They allowed the second-highest pressure rate in the NFL at 35.9 percent.

The Denver Broncos couldn't find an answer to their quarterback situation in 2017: Trevor Siemian ranked below average in 11 of 12 Next Gen Stats passing metrics, and Brock Osweiler and Paxton Lynch didn't fare much better.

The Jets could use a playmaker in the passing game at the running back position. Running backs Matt Forte and Bilal Powell were one of the least productive groups in the league when targeted out of the backfield, with a passer rating of 86.8 versus the 95.9 NFL average.

The Buccaneers need an edge rusher to improve their pass rush. They posted the NFL's second-worst edge pressure rate (12.7 percent) this season.

Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky could use some new weapons on the outside, as Chicago had one of the least productive wide receiver units in the NFL when lined out wide (64.8 passer rating) and when targeted on deep passes (12.5 percent catch rate).

The 49ers' defense needs help at safety since its safeties have had a hard time against the pass, allowing the second-worst passer rating (115.1) in the league.

The Raiders' defense must find help for their secondary. Their corners (129.1) and safeties (114.7) ranked in the bottom five in passer rating allowed on deep tosses.

The Dolphins could stand to improve their linebacker and defensive line corps. They were the worst tackling team (48.2 percent tackle conversion rate) in the league.

The Redskins' defense need to improve on run defense -- both the interior and exterior. They had the third-lowest interior stuff rate (12.5 percent) and the lowest edge stuff rate (11.5 percent) this season.

The Green Bay Packers' secondary needs to improve at the cornerback position. Packers corners allowed the worst passer rating (106.2) in the NFL when they were the nearest defender.

The Cardinals need to address their offensive line troubles, primarily on the left side, where they allowed the highest pressure rate (12.7 percent) and the most pressures (166) in the league.
