Broncos offensive linebacker Von Miller had the fastest sack this week in just 2.24 seconds. Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald came in second with a sack in 2.68 seconds.

On only his 5th carry of the game, newly-acquired Eagles running back Jay Ajayi showed that he is better off in Philadelphia as he scored a 46-yard rushing touchdown after not having a rushing touchdown through 7 games with Miami. As shown below, on his 8 carries on the day Ajayi, on average, did not have a defender within 1 yard of him when he was in the backfield, a stark difference from his time in Miami.

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr recorded the highest average air distance on completions this week. The longest completed pass for the season now belongs to Rams quarterback Jared Goff, as he had a 67-yard touchdown pass that traveled an air distance of 61.8 yards.

Against the Buccaneers porous secondary, Saints quarterback Drew Brees was very efficient, completing 22 of his 27 pass attempts for 283 yards and 2 touchdowns. Brees was effective all over the field, but the majority (22-27, 81.4%) of Brees' success came on passes of less than 10 Air Yards. Brees finished the contest with an average completed air yards per attempt of 6.1 yards, the 10th-lowest of Week 9

Max speed as ball carrier goes to San Francisco 49ers Marquise Goodwin reaching his max speed at 21.68 MPH. Los Angeles Rams Todd Gurley pulling second with 20.62 MPH.

Last season, Rams quarterback Jared Goff struggled to find open receivers, throwing 23.9% of his attempts into tight windows (3rd-highest among qualifying QBs). This season, Goff has flipped the script, throwing only 11.5% of his attempts into tight windows (lowest in the league). In Week 9, Goff did not throw a single attempt into a tight window.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had the fastest time to throw for the week and was tied by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

Lions quarterback Stafford's passer rating of 132.6 is not only his best for a game this season, but over the past two seasons as well. Additionally, his 252 yards against the blitz is his best in a game since the start of the 2016 season.

Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch had his best game of the season on Sunday night, rushing for 2 touchdowns. Both touchdowns were on inside runs, adding to his 3 inside touchdowns for the season. As shown below, despite primarily rushing outside the tackles (72.1% of his carries), Lynch has been most productive on his inside runs this season.
