Week 6 Fantasy Waiver Wire
Need to improve your fantasy football roster? NFL.com Fantasy has you covered. Each week, we'll offer up 10 players you need to target off the waiver wire in your ultimate quest to take home a fantasy league championship!

One of the more talented young wideouts in the league, Blackmon returned from a four-game suspension with a bang. The former Oklahoma State standout caught five passes for 136 yards and found the end zone in a loss to the St. Louis Rams. The Jaguars will be playing catch-up a lot this season, so Blackmon will see his share of chances.

McGahee now is the featured back for the Browns, which was evident Thursday night when he carried the ball 26 times. He isn't the same player he was with the Buffalo Bills, but for a starting runner to be on the waiver wire at this point in the season is rare. He's a viable flex starter in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions.

Jeffery was on this list last week, but he is still a free agent in more than 50 percent of NFL.com leagues. That should change this week, though, as he posted 10 catches for a ridiculous 218 yards and one touchdown in a loss to the New Orleans Saints. Jeffery, who has scored 49.20 fantasy points in his last two games, faces the New York Giants in Week 6.

The Rams backfield is tough to trust, but Stacy started and had a decent stat line against the Jaguars. Not only did he lead the team with 14 carries, but he also averaged a solid 5.6 yards per carry. When you consider how shallow the running back position can be on the waiver wire, it makes sense to take a chance on Stacy even if he's added for backfield depth.

Miller was one of the five best tight ends in the league based on fantasy points last season, but a major knee ailment that resulted in a surgical procedure kept him from being drafted in a lot of leagues. He's back at 100 percent now, though, and has shown flashes of his 2012 brilliance. If you need a starting tight end, go out and pick up Miller now.

Stevan Ridley missed Week 5 with a bum knee, and Shane Vereen is out several more weeks. Enter Blount, who led the Patriots in carries in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He's not going to light the fantasy world on fire, but he is worth a roster spot while the Patriots are rolling with him. Blount will go up against the New Orleans Saints this week.

Reece, who was one of the hottest waiver-wire pickups of 2012, is back on the radar heading into Week 6. With Darren McFadden and Rashad Jennings injured and likely questionable, Reece might be called on to carry the mail against the Kansas City Chiefs. In a best-case scenario, Reece will have flex-starter value in this tough AFC West matchup.

Yes, there is an Austin in St. Louis who is hot right now and it's not Tavon -- it's Pettis. He found the end zone twice in a win over the Jaguars and has scored at least 10 fantasy points in each of his last four games for owners in PPR formats. At the very least, he's worth a roster spot in such formats. Pettis plays the Houston Texans next.

Rashard Mendenhall remains the starter in Arizona, but Ellington is heavily in the mix. In fact, the rookie caught four passes and recorded 83 scrimmage yards in a win over the Carolina Panthers. Ellington, who averaged an impressive 7.4 yards per carry in the contest, has added value in all PPR formats. Next up, Ellington will play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.

Allen has seen a more prominent role in the Chargers' pass attack in recent weeks, posting a combined 195 yards with one touchdown in his last two games. That includes an impressive 17.50 fantasy point performance against the Raiders on Sunday night. With Malcom Floyd out for the season and Eddie Royal's numbers slipping fast, the rookie should be owned in most leagues.
